Jayne started her working life in Event Management, Hospitality and Sales and can list Earls and landed gentry as her former employers. Here at Able she is our in-house guru for everything purchasing and financial and quite rightly so – she is a mean negotiator and has recently studied for her AAT qualifications alongside gaining first hand industry experience. She puts all this knowledge and expertise to good use managing all of our Accounting, Procurement, Stock Control and Sales related vacancies and recruitment campaigns, and it really shows in her conversion rates saving clients lots of time meeting candidates that can’t cut the mustard. Outside of work she is mother to daughter Emily and doting Labrador Sandy and wife to Richard. She is a keen runner and is regularly spotted running round the lanes of Shropshire and South Staffs, easy to spot as she has legs to die for. Passionate about the business Jayne is always happy to meet with clients who are thinking about using an agency.

Audrey is very practical, albeit not all that tidy, she is our go to person for fixing office equipment, finding the stop tap in an emergency and bringing in the lemon puffs when we have visitors (other varieties available upon request).  Back in the day Audrey worked in Travel and Customer Services and this helps massively in 3 ways: she totally gets customer service and sorts the wheat from the chaff for all our customer service and administration vacancies; she is the customer facing representative for Able and is super good at finding candidates that other agencies don’t have and looking after them, so much so that it is not unusual for us to get numerous recommendations from satisfied candidates  including their boyfriends, girlfriends, cousins, parents, best mates…, and finally her super nerdy comprehension of the British Isles and all that it’s super Motorway and A Road network has to offer, helps us to ensure candidates never get lost or matched to a job they can’t get to. Outside of work she is partial to cooking, sewing and dog walking, and has a penchant for a drop of Irish Whiskey.

Gilly is the brains behind the operation and our founder, she has numerous qualifications including post graduate diplomas in Marketing and Human Resources and has first-hand industry experience working as a HR Consultant. Gilly has over 25 years recruitment experience (although you would be best advised not to mention it if ever you meet her, she is very touchy about her age), this coupled with her prior work history in Sales and Marketing makes her an expert recruiter for all our marketing, HR and other professional and senior appointments. She is particularly tuned-in to the needs of owner managers and alongside finding them super talented individuals to help make their businesses as successful as can be, she is not shy and will gladly offer advice and opinion on best practice recruitment and selection processes, job descriptions, interview techniques etc. Outside of work she is always on the go, attending regular gym and yoga classes, cycling and baking (lemon drizzle is one of her signature bakes).
